Phase I of the Riverfront parks provides decks over the water, riverside trails and plenty of room for the kids to play.

Newaygo offers many riverside paths for walking, biking and rollerblading. Get some excercise or just take a peaceful stroll.  Connects both Phase I and Phase II Riverfront parks.

Phase II of the Riverfront parks is a great place for canoeing, kayaking, fishing or simply enjoying the day.

Henning park is the City of Newaygo’s campground.  There is river access for fishing, canoeing and kayaking.  For your recreational needs: softball fields, basketball, tennis, volleyball and nature trail. This beautiful location is a perfect get-away. 

The Surrounding Area

The Newaygo area is a wonderful place for outdoor activties. There are many lakes with public accesses for your water recreational enjoyment. Our area is abundant with trails for biking and walking as well as woods and campgrounds for camping. In the winter monthes snowmobiling is great in Newaygo with numerous trails leading all over the county and beyond.
